The XLERATOReco is Excel Dryer’s no-heat, energy-optimized hand dryer—designed specifically for facilities pursuing LEED v4 credits, sustainability initiatives, or strict energy-consumption targets. The XL-SB-ECO delivers the same brushed stainless steel finish as the standard XLERATOR XL-SB at a significantly lower energy footprint.

XLERATOReco models dry hands in 10 seconds while consuming only 500 watts—approximately 65% less energy than the standard XLERATOR line and roughly 80% less than conventional warm-air dryers. The eliminated heating element reduces operating cost further and supports cooler-running operation for warmer climates and high-throughput restrooms.

The lower wattage also means multiple XLERATOReco units can install on a single circuit, simplifying electrical planning in multi-stall restrooms and reducing installation cost compared to the standard XLERATOR. BuildingGreen® listed and eligible for LEED v4 credits.

Things to Consider

• No-Heat Operation: XLERATOReco does not heat the air stream—dry time is comparable to standard XLERATOR (10 seconds vs. 10-15 seconds), but in cold ambient conditions buyers may perceive slightly cooler air
• vs. Standard XLERATOR: The XL-SB-ECO is the right specification when energy efficiency is the priority. For installations where heated air operation is preferred, specify the standard XL-SB instead
