Description

Bissell BG10 Commercial Carpet Extractor | Spot Extraction for Rooms, Offices, and Stairs

The Bissell BG10 Commercial Carpet Extractor is a compact, dual-motor carpet cleaner built for guest rooms, offices, stairs, and spot extraction on high-traffic carpet. Its DirtLifter power brush and 10-inch cleaning path lift embedded dirt and stains from carpet fibers, while the 1.75-gallon solution tank and 2-gallon recovery tank keep refill stops to a minimum during room-by-room cleaning. Upholstery and stair cleaning require the BISSELL hose and upholstery tool (accessory pack 30G3), which is sold separately.

12-Amp Dual Motor Extraction | Bissell BG10 Carpet Extractor

The Bissell BG10 pairs a 12-amp motor with 103 inches of water lift and edge-to-edge suction to pull dirty water out of carpet fibers. Two rows of rotating brushes agitate the carpet as you clean, and the BG10 cleans in both forward and backward passes. At 42 lbs, with an adjustable handle and multiple carry handles, the BG10 moves easily between rooms, floors, and service closets in hotels, offices, schools, and other commercial facilities.

Explore Bissell’s versatile range of cleaning tools and equipment, designed to tackle a variety of cleaning tasks across your facility with ease.

How To Use

  1. Prepare the Area: Begin by vacuuming the carpet to remove loose dirt and debris, ensuring a more effective clean.
  2. Remove and Fill Tanks: Separate the clean water tank from the dirty water tank. Fill the clean water tank with warm water up to the indicated line and add two capfuls of Bissell Commercial Cleaning Solution. Reattach the tanks with the dirty water tank on top.
  3. Start Cleaning: Turn on the extractor, lower the handle to the desired position, and squeeze the trigger to begin the cleaning process. Move the machine slowly forward and backward across the carpet.
  4. Empty and Refill Tanks: When the flow indicator stops spinning, it’s time to refill the clean water tank. Empty the dirty water tank and refill the clean water tank as needed.
  5. Post-Cleaning: After use, empty and rinse both the clean and dirty water tanks thoroughly. Clean the brush roll and ensure everything is properly dried before storing the extractor.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the Bissell BG10 clean upholstery and stairs?

Yes, with the BISSELL hose and upholstery tool (accessory pack 30G3), which is sold separately. The BG10 cleans carpet out of the box, but upholstery, stair treads, and other spots the 10-inch floor head can't reach need the hose and hand tool.

How large are the Bissell BG10 tanks?

The BG10 has a 1.75-gallon solution tank and a 2-gallon recovery tank. The recovery tank sits on top of the solution tank, and both lift off for filling, emptying, and rinsing.

What areas is the Bissell BG10 built for?

The BG10 is built for guest rooms, offices, stairs, and spot extraction on high-traffic carpet. Its 10-inch cleaning path and 42-lb weight make it easy to move room to room. For large open carpeted areas, a wider walk-behind extractor covers more ground per pass. Browse our floor machines for larger-area options.

Does the Bissell BG10 heat the water?

No. The BG10 does not have a heater, so fill the solution tank with warm tap water up to the fill line before adding cleaning solution.

What warranty comes with the Bissell BG10?

The BG10 carries BISSELL's limited 1-year commercial warranty, so it is covered for use in hotels, offices, and other commercial facilities.

Things to Consider

  • Hose and hand tool sold separately: Order accessory pack 30G3 if you plan to clean upholstery, stairs, or tight spots.
  • Cleaning path: The 10-inch path is built for rooms, offices, and spot work, not for large open carpeted areas such as ballrooms or open-plan floors.
  • Weight: At 42 lbs with tanks empty, the BG10 is heavier once the tanks are full. Use the carry handles and empty the recovery tank before carrying it up or down stairs.
  • Power: The BG10 runs on a 25-foot OSHA pigtail cord. Plan outlet access room by room, or use a commercial-grade extension cord rated for a 12-amp load.
  • No heater: Results depend on starting with warm tap water, so fill the tank close to the point of use.
